Hi, I'm currently working on the Facebook page of an English singer-songwriter based in France and who begins to work in other countries. I've made a Facebook ad to get more views of a video posted on Facebook. The audience was set to similar artists (only American or English), as well as "Singer-songwriter". I've choosen 4 territories: the USA, UK, Germany and Portugal. I'm very surprised, because 85% of the result came from Portugal, the 15% left is shared between the 3 other countries. However, I guess there are more fans of singer-songwriter in the USA and the UK than in Portugal. So why do I get this result? Any idea? Could it be because Portugal is far less flooded by FB adsthan elsewhere? Thanks in advance
It's totally determined by the algorithm to get you the best results possible. It determined that you can get more traffic from Portugal and showed your ad more there.
Thanks Qwikad! OK... So does the audience has to be not too wide to get best results? Which would mean it is more difficult to get good results in a wide country like the US??
