just watched an interesting programme on regional news, where it showed several ports of entry along the essex and east anglia coasts of the UK where there are no passport controls, and even ships with a foreign flag are not inspected. no wonder illegal immigration is such a big problem in the UK, so is the government asleep! apparently illegal immigrants who cannot gain entry to france or the netherlands just come into the UK via these uncontrolled ports. what a fiasco! also what does this say about organised criminals smuggling drugs into the country, must seem like christmas to them!
