Portfolio Site

    Hello,

    I am a php freelance programmer and recently i have had many request for my portfolio the problem is i dont have one. Now i ran into some trouble as im a programmer how should my portfolio look? becuase i dont do designing work i mainly do the coding side of the job.

    If someone could explain to me how i should lay out my portfolio it would be helpful.

    Im not asking for designers, im looking for suggestions/ideas on how i should lay out my page as i dont create designs i cant take screenshots of designs what would i put up on my portfolio info?

    You should show the design of the webpage you coded for in a functioning format. Have different snippets of code showing and what each piece does, how it comes together, etc.

    It's always useful and effective to show potential customers how you can "solve their problems".

    This is why "case studies" on website product pages are so effective. Once you can show that you solve customers problems they understand how you can be valuable to them.

    You could use AJAX to create a 1 page portfolio that involves the user scrolling across your different projects.
