Portfolio design

Heres my latest portfolio design, thoughts please?

its really nice and clea, however I don't like the hover effect so much...It's too bright..maybe tone it down a little bit?

 

Glad you like it, I quite like the bright hover effect, I think it will look quite nice, since its only a hover, so wont be displayed for a long period of time.

 

Very nice - very easy to read the headers... not so much the text, might want to bump that up just a tad. This is really nice though.

 

I'm not a fan of the wood texture for the overall background, but overall it looks good.

I've just never visually been "thrilled" by wood. It does not look bad, I just don't get exited about it.

 

I like the contrast between the background and your main section for information. Your logo is real clean, too.

The only opportunity for improvement, in my opinion, would be to darken your text just a bit. It's a bit too light.

Looks good. I like the colors and texture background you have.

The only thing I can think to add for your design is a seperator between the first two columns. At first glance it looked like you had one column with pictures.

I know this is the design section, but I thought I'd just suggest that you run all the content through word, a lot of typos

Nice design there man! You did a very good job on that! Very simple and smooth.

One thing I noticed is that you don't have any sample works on your site. I mean even if it's just a thumbnail.
