    i need your thought as guidance but before plz read and then let me know your thought/s.

    General Plan: having a website with blog and forum
    Ideal Plan: Home page (a portal) that intigrates wordpress and VB forum.

    How: I dont know yet?? need your help with it.

    Alternative 1: i have seen using joomla with some blogging extension and use VB in the same portal . it works just fine but i have experienced the following:
    -its much slower site
    -not user firednly like Wp ehn you post 7-10 posts/day
    -se ranking not easier like WP (especially with the joomla extension)
    -the site speed slows down
    So, NO

    Alternative 2: WP and VB but going back and forth is not easy and also i need to show a statice page as a home page. So, NO

    Any input will be highly appreciated

    Well, for vBulletin you will probably need some custom scripting to do something like that. For SMF there's open source solution:

    thanks, i looked into tiny portal as well but the only i dont think its possible to add wordpress with the under the same portal??

    Nope... tinyportal works only with SMF as far as I know ;)
