Portable Internet in Barcelona?

I don't know if there's anyone from Spain or who've been there before that could help me with this problem.

Basically, I'll soon be traveling in Europe for a couple of weeks. However, I'll be spending most of my time in Barcelona, in an apartment that I rented for a month. I'm bringing my laptop, but the apartment I'm staying at doesn't have a phone line.

I know I can go to internet cafés, but I'd prefer to be able to get connected from the apartment. Anyone know of a solution?

Where I live, I know that some phone companies offer portable internet (basically a wireless modem that you plug in to your laptop), does anyone know any companies that offer this in Spain? I tried searching on Google (yeah I searched in Spanish too :)) but I had no luck.

    Thanks for the help.

Make a huge dish out of foil and popsicle sticks, hook it up to your laptop, and scan for wifi.

    :D

Yes I see their PCcard offer. Without a contract, it seems it would come out to 149 €. Is that about what you paid for one month, or is there some other fees?

    Thanks

I paid a little over price they gave you ... around 170 euros when I convert from our currency ... Make sure you get fastest one and a lot of bandwidth (I had to pay for extra bandwidth too )!! They can quickly fool you .... so check twice what you sign !
