Port Prophecy - Free Submissions for DP

OK. Need to get another link in before the big update? I will be allowing free submissions to http://www.portprophecy.com for DP members starting now until Sunday. Please follow all rules and guidelines when submitting.

Fill out your information in step 1 of the submissions process, and when taken to step 2 for paypal payment, just ignore.

NOTE: In the title please add (DP) before or after your site title so I know who you are. If this is not present, your site will be rejected without any review.

Yes, the design is mine. It's a modified version of the biz directory script. As far as doing recips, I can do something for a friend.

Well the reason I ask is because I submit to very few directories, but stay far away from those that engage in reciprocal link exchanges!

I just wanted to know for the benefit of the forum and for information if you have a policy of requiring or encouraging link backs for a listing in your directories

PS: I am not trying to trap you, just answer honestly please...

Nope, don't do recips....don't even ask for one on this directory. Honestly, I hate recips. I never submit to any recip directories myself. I'd pay before that.

Good PP, because many of us shy away from submitting to the directories that want reciprocals, I treat them like the plague to be honest and tell publishers to dump any text or automation to facilitate reciprocals, I think they could be labeled as link farms down the road if they are not already!

Your welcome. I figure everyone is getting so uptight about the damn PR update that never comes, I'll break the tension with some freebies.

 

Yep, I think recip only directories will be dumped soon (Google hates linking schemes!). I've also noticed a scary trend of so-called "free" directories that practically kiss you ass to get you to recip to them (ask about 5 times on submit page, tell you you might not get in without it, email about 5 times to remind your to recip). I think such people are doing themselves alot more harm than good.

DOH! I forgot to put the (DP) in, my site is job-tuition.com

 

PP, I submitted psychlinks.ca to catagory "Health" but forgot to add "DP" to the beginning of the title and then couldn't edit it to change it.


BTW, you have two subcategories for "Health Care" in that category, one empty and one not empty.

 

Hey Port thanks for the offer, I submitted one for Las Vegas Real Estate. I think I added DP to the front of the title

 

submitted my sites to employment category but I forgot to put (DP) at the title to one of my sites.
