    Hi,

I have an issue to discuss. On our mail server its being old version does not allow option for alternate port. So I was looking for anything like port forwarding. We are using IPSEC for security and its working like a charm We never need any etc firewall after enabling IPSEc. so I was wondering whether there is any option in windows without any firewall software, using which we can enable port forwarding. I want to forward port 587 to port 25. Is this possible.??

    Regards
    Ciril

I don't think you can do it with IPSec, nor would I recommend relying soley on it without a Firewall.

But to answer your question, you could download something called "PortMapper" from www_analogx_com which will allow you to do what you want -> "AnalogX PortMapper allows you to map any port on your computer to any IP address and port on another machine."

    Cheers, Cryo.
