WOW, If this don't scare the shit out of Americans, nothing will and we're doomed.

I can't even come up with words for how saddened I am with the complacincy of Americans.

It seems Bush was being left in the dark as well about this deal.

The second the spotlight is on... "I did not know." , "I don't recall", "I was not informed.".

The greater issue here is why are we having a foreign company watch our ports (which is not new)? Are Americans really that uneducated and incapable that we have to hire foreigners to do everything?

If the majority of Americans are anything like Mia and Gtech I won't be living here much longer. It's like being a sitting duck in a tiny pond during hunting season.

In "label" terms, the majority of Americans are in the center or lean slightly left or right. Think of a bell curve.

This is why presidential candidates must try to appear to be a centrist to get elected. Appealing too far left or right will get you a trip back home.

I think that is one of the problems here in the US. You can't be all things to all people. How about just standing up for what is right and making logical decisions? That is what I wish our presidents would do, regardless of what political party they belong to.

Lol, I read that question and laughed. Good point. I'd like to see somone from a poor family become president. Now that will be the day I'd say we live in a true democracy.

As soon as they make politics free someone from the lower class being elected.

It's extremely hard to get into politics and work your way up. Once you are in, you can shut out most opponents by simply appealing to larger interest groups. That's why 95% of incumbents are re-elected.

Germany has a very interesting government structure. Thanks to proportional voting, the government more accurately represents the public and their public votes more than the public in the US.

You've already admitted you would sell your country out. Perhaps you could do it better from a training camp in Pakistan? Man, I'm simply flattered! That you would leave the country I cherish so dearly because I've helped you see the light that you don't care about it, except when it comes to the rights of terrorists is almost overwhelming. I'm humbled that "I" can make a difference online by helping rid our country of dead beat losers! What an honor!

Don't worry Gtech, we don't have to go to Pakistan to find training camps. They will soon be coming to an American town near you, courtesy of Halliburton.

There aren't many places I can run anyway. I mean, they don't call it the New "World" Order for nothing!
