This may be a dumb question but I know that you can't have popups on Adsense pages but what about popunders?

    Thanks

Of course you can have both popups and popunders on Adsense pages. You can't, however, use Google Adwords to send surfers to a page with popups (or popunders).

Why do you bother then - I replied that it is okay and you didn't believe me. Read the TOS yourself and tell me where it says popups are not okay.

You've never gotten bad advice on a forum before? Never hurts to double check to keep from getting banned from adsense.

thanks for your original help though.

And double checking does not involve reading the TOS?

Seems a little grey to me. Sorry if you were offended that I did not immediately take your word on the interpretation.

Is that the Adwords or the Adsense TOS? Because that was my point in my first post above - they have different terms. It's okay to have popups on pages serving adsense (although you may NOT put Adsense inside the popups), but you can't direct Adsense clicks to pages with popups.

    As per Google,
I interpret that to mean that the loading of a web page that generates a popup/popunder cannot contain Adsense ads.
