Well I have searched the forum but I was not satisfied with the answers. I buy traffic to promote my website. This is also done by popunders. Which means that my main page gets loaded into a popunder on the users computer. Now I am thinking about putting adsense code onto my main page. However this would mean that when the main page gets loaded into a popunder the adsense will get loadeded into there as well. Now I am not sure if that will cause a problem with Googles TOS. Any advice offered?
I think there are two potential problems, one with the popunders and the other with your purchased traffic (which is NOT the same as purchasing advertising): https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=48182 http://adsense.blogspot.com/2007/04/note-on-traffic-exchange-programs.html My understanding is that Google wants visitors to pages with adsense to be there because they are interested in the page itself, i.e., find the page in the SERPS, follow a link from another web site, click an ad for your site, or go to it directly. Google frowns on traffic that is being compensated in some way to visit your site, either because traffic is expected in return or they are being paid directly.
i think its against the TOS as the visitor did not intentionally open the page or might not intentionally click on the ads, its decieving him so its against the TOS
Ok, thanks for your answer. I also found this at Adsense answers: ht tps://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=23921 The only remaining question would be if Google considers a pop-under a pop-up as well. But I think that answers my question finally and so i guess it is not allowed. So this means that I have to remove adsense everytime I buy traffic? Pheew. Or maybe I can make 2 different landing pages so that I can use another URL for the pop-under.
