Selling Popunder Traffic Exchange Site

I am here to sell my one month old site - http://popundernetwork.com - This is a popunder traffic exchange site. This is how the site works: Users embed the code on their website and once done, we will start showing popunder on these websites. For every such visit, we will show their website as a popunder on our other partner sites. This way, if you have 1000 visits, it will double to 2000 visits.

The selling point of the website is to enable registered users to double the traffic on their site with just 5 minutes of work. The success of the site is not measured in traffic but in terms of popunders served. Here is a snapshot of the backend where you can see the popunders we have delivered so far on the registered sites.



Monetization Opportunity

Right now, I have set the traffic exchange to 1:1 ratio (that is for every popunder the site delivers, we will showcase their site 1 time). But it can be easily modified to 1:2 or 2:3,etc. with just a very minor modification in the backend (I can teach you how once the site is sold - you just have to change a number at one place in the script). This way, you can free up enough popunder inventory to show your own popunder ads - either find people looking for popunder inventory on the DP marketplace, or show your own Amazon affiliate pages.

Right now however, I am not monetizing the site because it is time for growth. But I may have to sell it now since I could be landing another day job shortly and so may not have time for this. It has a huge potential - if you own a blog in the webmaster niche, it is ridiculously easy to get new signups by writing to your audience.

There are 28 members right now. As you can see in the image, some members are not active (they have registered but have not embedded the code yet) - my idea was to contact them with the embed code once we have much more traffic.

Right now, we are serving around 1500 popunders a day. This is a 1:1 exchange right now. You can easily modify this to 2:3 or something and then show an affiliate link to fill up the inventory and make money off this.

This is a custom script built especially for this purpose.

The script has a session cookie set for 30 minutes - so that you don't show a popunder ad a second time to the same visitor in under 30 minutes. This session is set across all the network sites to better user experience.

When a new user registers, you will immediately get an email. To prevent illegal sites from getting approved, I have kept the sites unapproved by default. As soon as you get a mail on a new registration, you can test the site for content and then approve it from the backend.

 

How do you recover embedded code if lost?

 

It's a standard code where only the ID needs to be replaced. I have so far been handling it via emails - people email me asking if they can resend the code and I send it to them.
