    I hear alot about people saying they rank high with popular keywords and phrases. Just wondering from the members here, what do you consider popular, compared to the keyword ranking tool (overture) at this site for phrases, or even individual words?

    1,000 per day? 10,000 per day? etc....

    It is more the purpose of the keyword phrase the searcher is looking for, rather than how many times the keyword is searched for.
    For example, someone who is looking for free sheet music, is not necesarily going to buy the sheet music, so even though you might have high ranking for the keyword phrase, free sheet music, the value of the high ranking is low.
    If the keyword phrase, download sheet music is concentrated on as the keyword phrase, it is not searched for as many times as free sheet music, but the value of the term, download sheet music is greater, because the visitor is more likely to buy the sheet music, rather than just wanting free sheet music.

    I'd say anything over 50,000 a day could be called popular.
