Selling Popular Hindi Lyrics Site with 30,000 uniques/mo can make $300 + mo

www.hindisonglyrics.info is very close to my heart as it is an old site with 5+ years of age and was developed by me 5 years back. The site gets about 30000-50000 uniques per month and about 70000-100000 page views each month. All from organic search.

The site needs zero maintenance as the site is running on its own since last 4 years. There is $40-50 per month from google adsense and $40 from the private banners I've put in. However, I believe it is not properly monetized and if you monetize it well, it will make more than that as there is good traffic to the site since last several months.

There was a script within the site and it was updating the lyrics from another website automatically on weekly basis. Its from last few months that for some changes in the source site the script is not updating the scripts automatically. But, the script can be updated by someone who knows php in an hour or so and it will start adding new lyrics each week.

Although, I spend zero hours in last several months maintaining the site, but the reason I am selling the site is I am going away from internet business and will be shutting down my hosting server. So, I won't be able to keep this site live on my own and moreover, I'll not be able to even supervise the site for next several months.

I am not asking a fortune for this site, I just want a reasonable amount that will cover a few months income and rest is yours. Everything I claim is true and can be documented.

@alphaque I am not a programmer and I may not help in the script issue. But, it should not be a big problem for someone who knows this.

@mytechiestuff you see gobligook because the song was in unicode and your computer was supposed to have hindi code to see this.

I shall be sure to have strong words about this with my computer.

It is true that over the 18 years or so that I have been in this biz, I have never bought a site which needed for me to get "hindi code" to display the content!

Why would you not say this right on the offer page though, so that those of us who have NEVER used this code would try and find a way to get he Hindi code???

 

@mytechiestuff this is a "Hindi Song Lyrics" site but it was only that particular song that was added in Hindi Font. All other songs lyrics you can see on the site are in normal fonts

With respect My dear sachinairan, this may be a Hindi site but your offer and all else was written in English!

If your offer here at DP had been in HINDI and not in English, there would have been no problem.

But I did try to log on to the site and I did get GobliGook.

That is not a good thing for the promotion of Hindi nor for your business.

I've now posted all the details including the December Month adsense and all time adsense and also verified the adsense account on DP. The September October November month adsense is down for two reasons. I removed some of the adsense banners to replace them with some affiliate banners and also due to some server problem, the site was down for several days during these months.

As, you can see on the site there are other banners from adsense also so those banners also get me some revenue from time to time.
