Sorry, but I've yet to see one website that was banned for hidden text or links - personally I think this is yet another Google Myth (unless someone can show me an example!)

There's one site in my industry, that has over 3,000 pages that has around 20 - 30 paragraphs of hidden text per PAGE - the site has been ranking in Google for over 3 yrs - no ban.

 

I don't know of any URL's off the top of my head, but I know Google has banned for hidden text. At one point they were sending emails to people to tell them that they had been banned for hidden text, but they stopped emailing.

 

a lot of newbies do that, i did with plastic surgery keywords and like....david beckham sex britney spears nude . i submitted the site for review on dp and someone saw it and i removed it. next day google put my site into the search engine

I've seen sites booted from Yahoo for such practices. In any event, it looks like they did the right thing and cleaned it up. That now leaves the question of how it will affect the current traffic. And that may not be known for a month or two.

I saw this website on eBay for sale. The same pictures the same design and it was written there that it has 500 members. The Price was 250$. And it is not unique it's some kind of template...
