DirectorySpy.com for sale!

After some long consideration, I've decided to sell the very popular DirectorySpy.com blog. It became well known for the phpLD PR Update Mod. I'm now going to spend some time on other new projects.

This blog is well known, respected, and linked to from many blogs and directories in the directory niche.

Don't fear though, I will support the PR Update Mod on my personal blog!


Site
Based on a wordpress installation. I will give you all of the source code and database information. It's up to you to install. I will remove any adsense code. I'll leave you to reclaim the blog on Technorati and Feedburner (both very highly recommended).

I will give the owner the ownership to my Category Dumps and phpLD Statistics Mod, so that you can still offer the mods on DirectorySpy. I will move the phpLD PR Update Tool to my personal blog so that I can support it. Please feel free to develop the mods I leave with DirectorySpy.com, but please give me some kind of credit linking to my personal blog.


Income
Link sales from Directories. I only recently starting selling links, and have already earnt $500. Easy to make $150 a month from link sales alone (see below).

Adsense does not do well on DirectorySpy at all, earnings from Adsense have been virtually $0.

Donations have worked well, and I have earnt $500 from donations in a single year. I put links to sites on the donations page. 80% of the donations were due to link buyers wanting a contextual link, rather than supporting the mods.

Link Subscriptions
All were active subscriptions for blogroll links, but have been cancelled for this sale. I will give all details to the new buyer so that they can renew the subscriptions.

6 to expire on 2nd Aug 2007
4 to expire on 13th Aug 2007.

I charged $15 a month, so for 10 buyers, that equates to $150 a month.


Link Exchanges
I did a number of link exchanges for DirectorySpy.com, and I can give you details of those too. I suggest you keep them up, and encourage you to get more.


Traffic
There are around 25 feedburner subscribers, and an average of 25 unique visitors per day.


Suggested Improvements
Write more mods. Also update the content daily or every 2 days. This will greatly increase your traffic, and then you could offer banner advertising. You could also charge for sponsored blog posts for directories.


Price

Based on income listed above, using these calculations:
Link Subscriptons = $150 a month for 10 links ($15 per month, very easy to get), therefore 10 months = $1500.00

I have ignored the income from donations, as this is not reflect a regular income to the site. However, I did earn just over $500 in 12 months.


Making money from this site is very easy, hence the following prices:
