I keep asking you to be honest. http://www.kingmessiahproject.com/is_muhammad_false_prophet.html Book 37, Number 4282: Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal: The Prophet [peace_be_upon_him] said, "The greatest war, the conquest of Constantinople and the coming forth of the Dajjal [Antichrist] will take place within a period of seven months."
http://answering-islam.org/Shamoun/false_prophecies.htm S. 30:2-4: "The Roman Empire has been defeated - in a land close by: But they, (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious - within a few years." As the prophecy stated the Byzantines did become victorious over the Persians who had at first defeated them. Yet there are fundamental problems with this alleged prophecy: According to Yusuf Ali the Arabic word for "a few years," Bidh'un, signifies a period of three to nine years; yet according to the historical records the victory did not come until nearly fourteen years later. The Persians defeated the Byzantines and captured Jerusalem at about A.D. 614 or 615. The Byzantine counter-offensive did not begin until A.D. 622 and the victory was not complete until A.D. 628, making it a period between thirteen to fourteen years, not "a few years" alluded to in the Quran.
So I guess my God did hold out a few years to show your prophet was false. But you don't care about prophecies. You like magic shows. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...lt&cd=1&q=muhammad's+false+prophecies&spell=1 If you would just be honest we could have a rational discussion.
yeah so.... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=bible+false+prophecies Will reply to the above post in a few minutes
I thought you knew the Quran better than the other muslims who couldn't find the time to answer them (apparently you read them and didn't have time either). Thanks for the "political" answer anyway. sunlove ONE Question only for you for today spdude. 1. Was there a forced Islamization?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadith_of_the_prediction_in_Sura_al-Rum The name of the battle which was the turning point in Roman history is the Battle of Issus. This happened in the year 622. In this decisive battle Rome was victorious... From wikipedia: "Emperor Heraclius transported his army through the Aegean sea and unexpectedly defeated the Persian army in the decisive battle of Issus" This happened in the year 622, seven years after the revelation of the verses.
It's obviously talking about events which have not yet occured. Let me spell it out for you: Towards the end of time, there will be some war where Constantinople will be taken, and then within seven months the Antichrist will appear. http://ww-iii.tripod.com/islamicprophecy.htm
Right but it wasn't over until 6 years after that battle. There is a turning point in every war but victory doesn't happen until the war is over. Not when a "decisive battle" is won. Try again.
http://www.kingmessiahproject.com/is_muhammad_false_prophet.html "Accordingly, the Muslims conquered Jerusalem in AD 636 and Constantinople was taken over by the Muslims in May of AD 1453. Based on the preceding traditions, the antichrist should have manifested himself in December of AD 1453. This never happened! The only possible conclusion that can be made with respect to this matter is as follows: The prophecies regarding Yathrib (Medina) being in ruins and the Antichrist's arrival to take place seven months after the conquest of Constantinople never materialized." Try again
Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 55, Number 546: Narrated Anas: When ‘Abdullah bin Salam heard the arrival of the Prophet at Medina, he came to him and said, “I am going to ask you about three things which nobody knows except a prophet: What is the first portent of the Hour? What will be the first meal taken by the people of Paradise? Why does a child resemble its father, and why does it resemble its maternal uncle†Allah’s apostle said, “Gabriel has just now told me of their answers.†‘Abdullah said, “He [i.e. Gabriel], from amongst all the angels, is the enemy of the Jews.†Allah’s Apostle said, “The first portent of the Hour will be a fire that will bring together the people from the east to the west; the first meal of the people of Paradise will be Extra-lobe [caudate lobe] of fish-liver. As for the resemblance of the child to its parents: If a man has sexual intercourse with his wife and gets discharge first, the child will resemble the father, and if a woman gets discharge first, the child will resemble her.†On that ‘Abdullah bin Salaam said, “I testify that you are the Apostle of Allah.†The standards of "proof" havn't improved.
A victory did occur on that day, no? The verse says on that day the believers will rejoice. It all happened in front of them. The pegans in Makkah who were worse in Islam hating than you also accepted that the prophecy was fullfilled on that day in 622.... if the battle of 622 could not have been considered a fullfillment of the verse, do you think those pegans would have let this pass... So I guess we're back to your denial that this is anything significant to begin with.... go have your beer.
I don't hate Islam. I just think it's pointless and the cause of unnecessary grief in the world. "also accepted that the prophecy was fullfilled on that day in 622" Even psychics get one right every once in awhile. "The hadith is referring to another war which hasn't happened yet..." Obviously because otherwise it would be false.
Sahih Al-Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 4, Number 234 Narrated Abu Qilaba: Anas said, “Some people of ‘Ukl or ‘Uraina tribe came to Medina and its climate did not suit them. So the Prophet ordered them to go to the herd of [Milch] camels and to drink their milk and urine [as a medicine]. So they went as directed and after they became healthy, they killed the shepherd of the Prophet and drove away all the camels.†Interesting that only Islamic sites claim urine is a good medicine. They claim it's been medically proven but fail to cite references.
Grief in this world means nothing compaired to what will happen in the afterlife. He handed over the camals.. you know the bet he lost with Abu Bakr. It's mentioned in the wikipedia article. You got that one right.
No problem with this or the previous one you quoted. -------------------- A comment from sister Nicole Woods, an American young sister who embraced Islam; may Allah Almighty always be pleased with her: "I just wanted to share the news with you that in products such as tylenol or asparine (not sure which but u can check the labels), there is an ingredient called PREMARIN. Biology majors here tell me that the name stands for PREgnant MARe urIN. Of course, no one would put unprocessed urine into medication... i'm sure it's boiled or pasteurized or something. But the ingredient is used very much in the way the prophet (peace be upon him) suggested using camel urine.. such as for headaches. oh, well, i'm sure to you it sounds disgusting... think of it next time u reach for tylenol or asparine *wink*" http://www.answering-christianity.com/urine.htm Nice one editing your post above, saying only Islamic sites claim this. Go pick up a bottle of tylenol or asperine and confirm for yourself.
You should take a biology class. Even the devil would know about urin. Stanger things have been used to cure things. The whole point of "prophecy" is that only God would know.
lol... then what was your point in making those words bold I'm not the one who presented the camel hadith as a prophecy, so what was your point?
It seemed really silly. Milk is a base and urin is acid. I wouldn't think that would make a very good combination.
