Does anyone know why my CPM rate has been consistently dropping this past week? I started at $1.03 (which is low to begin with) but has reached around $0.78 today. That's almost half of what I was getting at popcash.

$4.99 cpm?! How are yours so high? The highest I've ever gotten was about $1.30

 

maybe you need more traffic , my impression is more than yesterday but my earning only half of it damn!

 

That's crazy!!! What countries do your visitors come from? Do you have any special settings for your popads? How long have you been using popads for? I have close to the same traffic as you but much lower CPM.

 

There are two possibilities:
- There is some kind of technical problem related to setup of the adcode on your website. Please try using our Troubleshooter tool available after logging in. If that does not help, contact us and provide your website URL.
- Most of your traffic is filtered by our fraud filters. We seem to have much more strict filtering than other networks in the industry.

As we are a bidding network, rates keep changing all the time. Sometimes they drop, sometimes increase(but then nobody posts about it ). When you compare with other networks, please compare revenue and not rate, as different networks work in different way in terms of frequency capping and bidding.

It seems like there were two advertisers buying traffic from your website specifically(with high bids), but one of them stopped the campaign. Such changes might occure anytime as we are a bidding network.

When traffic works well for our advertisers, they offer publishers higher rates and compete against each other. This leads to high rates if you have high quality traffic (and that does not mean traffic from particular country, but traffic that converts for our advertisers).

In macro scale - yes - that is how bidding system works. If our traffic doubled overnight, many campaigns would run out of budget, so rates would go down till advertisers make new deposits.
Yet, if your website traffic increases for 5k a day to 10k a day, then it won't really make a difference.

We did receive few emails reporting the problem today. At this moment, I am unable to verify the problem(I can log in just fine), but of course our techs are checking logs from last few hours.

The login problem is random and does not affect all accounts. You can retry like every now and then and there's good chance it will work.
We are still working on it.

Websites are reviewed by separate department, you will need to wait for them.

 

I Join popads for my pages at Ackyshine community website but I fail to insert code, Ackyshine Community Website use Wikidot platform I don't know how to insert pop ads there

 

Unfortunately, we do not know all platforms and we are unable to help in this case. Usually the code can be installed in form of a HTML widget or you can injected it into template(if there is an option to edit template).

There are few possibilities:
1. If you run other pop networks on the same page then on some browsers like Chrome, our code won't work (well).
The reason is that Chrome allows only one pop to be opened at a time and when many codes try to open an ad at the same time, only one is allowed to do so. Rest of the codes are blocked.
As our adcode is async javascript, it tends to load after other codes, so we are never first to get the pop.
2. We have a pretty advanced fraud filtering. Some clickbot traffic that might be counted by other networks will be filtered at the gates at PopAds.

I have forwarded this to our techs, we'll check.

 

rate and stats drop too much this week
