amm!! i don't know actually how they count. I tried using the tag in both head and body tag. And also checked, without placing other ad network code. But no it counts the same.

Besides, when i check my website the popunder seems to appear everytime and on every page. 80% traffic are from my country, and how can you say that the problem is with visitors. It is really not worth.

 

You're kidding me if popads popunder appear to you every time you visit the page
If they have no ads for you visitors, they will not see them. Simple.

 

Perhaps he is referring to the default advertisement, which indeed opens on every refresh(but can be disabled by clicking a link inside it).
Right now, we have pretty good worldwide coverage, I do not think that is the problem.

However, we have much better fraud filtering than similar networks and we try to block as much fraud as possible directly at the gates. So if visitors use VPN or other form of proxy, our ads won't show(but ads from other networks probably will).
Finally, a lot depends on adcode settings(minimal bid) as well as on allowed campaign types(autoplaying sound/video, software promotion etc.).

I am sorry for the troubles. Indeed, we have experienced quite a large problem tonight. Adserving was affected only for few minutes. Panel is still slow, we are actually investigating the quickest solution.

Under the advanced code tab have you tried limiting the number per visitor? Default is 0 (unlimited) I believe. Change that to 1 or 2.

actually my visitors have faced some problems too . when website is opened in mobile and popup appears and it is crashing the browser and sometimes redirect and i also want to limit popups/visitor and where is advanced code tab?

i am using popads, but i noticed that there is huge difference between "Google Analytic Traffic Report" and "Popads Impression Rate".

Can you explain why is that much difference.

Pops require JS to be on which is possibly why, I'm getting hundreds of impressions on popads but thousands on juicyads' banners (because the banners run through iframes). I'm guessing that's the reason.

No I read/understand your question. There's a few reasons why popads reports is lower than google:

1. JS could be off for a number of visitors (like I said).
2. If the persons connection is slow, they could close the popup window before the ad actually loads.
3. There's no popads for a particular country/region. (using the juicyads fallback popup code is making me money, meaning that juicyads has popads for certain countries that popads obviously doesn't since they are see that fallback).

So really, both analysis are correct, but the amount of people seeing your popads is always going to be lower due to the above points, it'll be the same for everybody. Not sure if it's ever possible for a pop code to work without javascript either, because of the click that triggers the pop, but if there ever was a way, we'd all be making a lot more money.

 

Let me explain this. In contrary to Google Analytics(or other similar service), we do not count your website visitors/hits, because we do not pay for these.
We only count OPENED ad impression(popups/popunders). Your visitors who are counted by Google Analytics might not get an advertisement for many reasons:
- Due to navigation patterns. For example, someone finds your website on google, opens it, your website loads fine(including our adcode). In this case, the visitor is already counted by Google Analytics. Yet, the visitor just clicks the back button to go back to search results. In such case, the visitor does not click anywhere on your website, so popup/popunder cannot be opened.
- Due to fraud filtering. If your visitor uses any kind of anonymizing service or VPN, our adcode will be disabled. Same if the visitor uses some privacy extension that changes user agent or referrer.
- Due to visitors using AdBlock or similar technologies.
- In some cases, we have just few campaigns for a country. In such case, if the visitor got these ads already in last 48 hours (even at some other PopAds publisher) and we do not have any more ads, no impressions will be done.
- There might be some setup problems. Please try using our Troubleshooter tool available after logging in.

So let me repeat the most important part: Google Analytics counts your website traffic. PopAds counts opened popups/popunders.
That is why we will always count less than GA.

To answer your other question, you can set various limits in Code Generator's Advanced Options.

It is not really related to Javascript, nowadays all visitors have JS.
I wanted to comment on the fallback code - at this moment we have campaigns for pretty much all countries. Yet, if a visitor from a low-demand country makes many impressions, after opening 3-4 ads, we indeed might run out of campaigns for him. There are also other options on when the default code is used, for example in case the visitor triggers one of our fraud filters.

 

Ok I have a question regarding placement of the code (to make things easier for me). Is it ok (and will the code work) if I placed it within an external javascript file located on the root of my site and then on every page simple link to it as:

in the head?

It would make it so much easier and faster to update the codes settings within just that one file, rather than every single page and reuploading the entire site. 'm assuming this would be fine but thought I'd ask ahead incase.

It also depends what which banners/popups/popunders.... and where you place them on the site.
Everyone would tell you than you need to try it for 2 days and see... it takes in average minimum 2 days than adverts are optimized to make you and affiliate network most money.
