popads recently turned horrible!

CPM rates of around 0.7 for top tier traffic and only counts like 1/8 or less of my total traffic.

Switched to adf.ly full page ads .. earns went from $2.50-4/day to $91 so far today

Just wish I had that kind of traffic to send them.

 

Totally nor recommend this business opportunity... looks like they count like 1/20 of my traffic or less, and about paying...just TERIBAD! As guy before said, better stick to adf.ly

It was paypal.

 

My results in popads are very low...
Yesterday I try popads and adf.ly and those are the results:

PopAds:
Traffic: 75
Rate: 0.60$
Revenue: 0.04$

Adf.ly:
Views: 304
Avg. CPM: 1.04$
Earnings: 0.31$

I think this is a big difference.
I like the sistem of pop-ups used by popads, they pay very fast by Paypal, but the results at this time are very low...

 

Congrats....anyways does pop up ads lower the traffic? Because many people including me do`nt like pop up ads while browsing the internet.

 

I've never noticed a drop in traffic using pops, but I agree, they're annoying! Especially when they're Flash-based and choke your browser. Don't mind interstitials so much though.

 

Actually they are annoying...thats true. But if we consider a normal internet using person which visits a website with an pop up ad. First of all he/she must close the ad if its in the middle of the content. If he/she is not able to close that ad(in some cases people do`nt know to click on X) then he/she says that the website has lots of ads and is of no use. This is the case which I have observed in person.

 

IS pop ads start working well again?

By my experience the pop up ads works well only on popular websites having atleast a million impressions per month. For others people hate the ads and then the traffic lowers down gradually.

 

Just received January 2012's PayPal payment from Adf.ly. Thought I'd share for those considering trying them out...
