Poor Targetting?

    Hey Everyone,
A few days ago, my ads were perfectly targeted on my site. Now, they are very general and not related to my site at all. I don't want to target myself, because the sites on my page are pretty different and the targeting was good before, how can I get the ads more relevant or get yahoo to change the targeting? How do they come up with the ads anyways, the ads that are being displayed have nothing to do with my page content, titles, meta tags or anything.

    Thanks!

I've had this happen to me before, several times. When I call them, they tell me that I should disable my targeting for a few hours (Where I lose $100's) and then re-target them again. Sure it works for a couple hours but in the long run it's definetely a waste of time. My point is, YPN needs to work on their targeting a it more for sure, but they are on a role here. I'm sure they'll make it work.

I couldn't agree more. I have YPN on my directory and one time all the adds were for "Touchless Trashcans". I don't even have those words anywhere on my site...go figure.

I would call them up...I have done that before and they have "fixed it"...I wouldn't block those ads that are showing up though...because then you might not have any show up...I would rather have wrong ones that are YPN's fault than no ads at all.
