Poor Google Search Rankings

    Hello Everyone,

    I am working on www.vcus.com.sg fails to show any improvement in the search engine rankings.Few of the keywords targeted are:

    Furniture shop in Singapore
    Commercial Furniture Shop
    Bar Stools Singapore
    Bench Singapore
    Luxury Furniture
    Outdoor Furniture

    Please advice so that it started coming in atleast 100 results of search.

    What SEO works have you done so far for the website? How much marketing budget you have allocated for SEO purpose?

    Obviously if your site isn't ranking well then you need to work on SEO for the site.

    Depending on what you have done (if anything) you might want to do some social promoting of the site by way of Twitter, Facebook, Google+, etc.

    You also want to think about building some relevant backlinks to authority sites to help your rankings a bit.

    Like Pillai.G said above, you should be marketing the site and figure out a budget and see what you can do with whatever amount you set aside for marketing / advertising.

    I think you need to actually go back to the drawing board and do some keyword research first....

    This one doesn't have any search volume or stats

    This one has medium competition

    Sure you can rank for medium ones but without the correct research and extensive SEO it's going to be hard.

    You can do some free SEO research but following this video

    You need to deal with a bunch of technical issues. Your on page SEO is a disaster. To start with the keywords phrases are worthless. The h1 is empty. It does not matter if you fill it with scripting later because the search engine crawlers ignore most scripting and virtually all styling. There is virtually no content above the fold, and there is almost nothing of value on the page that is going to get indexed. The search engines are not going to send much traffic with a good ranking because the page is virtually worthless if they are trying to give users relevant links.

    To make things even worse the page loads so slow because of all the worthless bloated junk you have on it that users are going to hit the back button before it even finishes loading. The SEs will see that as a bounce and a high bounce rate means they will depreciate your rankings any further. The page was develop by someone without a clue about development or SEO, and need to be completely re-thought.
