Poor click through- how do I fix that?

    I run both CJ and ClixGalore on my site (www.nomadicmatt.com) It's travel site and all the links relate to travel but I seem to lack any click throughs. After 2500 impressons for CJ, I had one click but no sale. How can I increase my click rate and my sale rate or is that my readers are just interested in reading about travel but not buying it?

    when in doubt, take a CRAP... crap stands for

    Contrast - Make your offer stand out, sell the damn thing..
    Repetition - You tried telling them once, now tell them twice..
    Alignment - Align it with some of your navigation perhaps..
    Positioning - Put it in a more prominent position..

    if you PM me your actual site I can give you some more specific ideas for what you should do to get some more sales..
