What's a typical creation process ? What data would I have to supply ? Do I choose for example between a dozen of already created scripts ? How long does it take ? I am not at all in a hurry. I wonder if it is better to start say 1 month or more before I need a video
It depends on you, what data would you like to use in the video. If you want it to be a video promoting your website, you don't have to give me anything (only the link to the website). I'll look at it myself and I'll think about the best way to show it in the video The duration of it depends on my time If I've got much free time, I can deliver e.g. a 1 minute video to you in about 1 hour... For example today in the morning I've created a video for my client and delivered it in 30 minutes. But even if I'll not have that much free time, I guarantee you that it will not take me more than 2 days But it's good to hear that you're not in hurry, so I can have more time to create the video accurately

Do you have any other examples of your work? The ones given in this thread are all very much the same, with a cookie-cutter look and feel. If you can show an ability to be more creative and go outside this simplistic formula, I'd be interested. Otherwise I can just go to www.animoto.com
I've got lots of videos on my hard drive but none of them are hosted on Youtube, so I can't give you links to them. But yes, I can be more creative but my clients who ordered these videos didn't want nothing special, they just needed simple videos So if you need something more than this, you can just tell me and I'll do my best to satisfy you. Fair enough, but it's really hard to feel confident in your work without examples. Remember, your work is your best advertisement. I suggest you toss some of those other videos on YouTube, so you can give people links to them. Better yet, grab a quick domain/hosting package and set up your own portfolio site. You'll be amazed how much more business you'll get (and higher paying, too). For my own needs, I can't afford to spend the time working with a vendor without knowing in advance that he has the capabilities and creativity to fulfill my needs. Time is money, and there are many others out there with full portfolios...
