A couple of days ago I published a post on my blog that I wrote about a company called Blogging Ads. It was basically a review of my experience with that company when trying to earn money by writing paid blog posts. Within minutes of writing the post I received a comment from someone working for them. I’d like to think they follow my blog, and value my opinion highly, but I think the more probable reason they commented so quickly is because they use a script or program that points out when a site mentions their URL. During the comment they asked me a question. The question was : If we offered a premium service where we emailed you with the latest review opportunities, so you could get a head start on your rivals, would you pay $2 a month for this? Rather than give them my opinion of this I thought I would turn it into a post and put the question to you. I’ve also set up a poll about it as well. On the one hand I can see how receiving notification of the offers before the majority of the other bloggers would help me get in there first. But on the other hand we're in this to make money not spend it on the hope of getting ofers.
first of all, it's a waste of money... if you offer good content, there are many people that will advertise it for free. also new blogging rules state you cannot do that if you're a publisher.
I believe the rule states that you must disclose if it is a paid review, and only in the US and Canada.
Absolutely not! Any such offer sounds fishy. When a potential employer asks you for money, it's the first sign of a scam. I'd stop any business connections with that sort of company.
I think Blogging Adsmight have their answer. I've posted this in three places and only one person has said yes, but I think they misread the question.
