    board is meant for sales/purchase of web hosting - not discussions on stuff like this

    and to answer the question - it depends on who is hosting, if it's a mature and trustworthy host then I'd go with them even if they were a small reseller

    going with a 13 year old with 3 dedicated server is still a lot more risky than going with someone that has pubic hair with a much smaller company because of the level of maturity

    if there was enough volume that it mattered, I would agree. but that post sat at the top of the rss feed for awhile.

    Well, there are lots of people selling account off their VPSes. And there's nothing wrong with it. For me, it doesn't matter if I buy from server's owner or from VPS owner, I'd buy a hosting off someone's VPS, if it's fast and reliable enough, and of course if the price is OK.
    But I'm looking for something else right now, so it's not an offer ;)
