In my case I would definitely choose lack of investment!

Lack of intelligence combined with the will to get off their ass.

The rest of that are just excuses.

For me it was entirely lack of funds to invest. I was quite motivated to work after seeing the potential but it was frustrating having no money to safely invest, even though I was sure I would make it back.

thanks to all the people who posted their input.

i see quite a few people are having problems getting/staying motivated. just remember that the journey of a million miles starts with the first step. keep your goals clear. write them out with a plan on how you will achieve them.

then you MUST ACT. action is a must. you will never get anywhere until you do something. i know it may seem overwhelming with all the info flying around, but you need to take one idea/method, and make it work for you. if you try to do everything, you will end up doing nothing. stop worrying about "if i fail" or "if this doesn't work" etc.

instead of focusing on the what-if's, focus on the how. "how can i make this work" or "how can i make $XXXX this month"

thanks again and keep the input coming.

For me the hardest part has been focusing on which method to use. I'm still working on refining that. It seems there are so many ways to go at it and I have ended up sometimes being overwhelmed with information.

I think my biggest challenge is lack of direction. I get side tracked a lot.

Having to manage everything from wholesalers, to programmers, to customer support and making sure it all runs smoothly.

Same with me. I start one thing, then start another, and another. I never spend enough time on a single project.

For me, the answer is easy: 3. Lack of funds.

I see myself as an innovator and I love planning. I spend months planning and revising a single project. But in the end, I'm left with a huge stack of paper, a huge Word document, and nothing more. I'm very confident that if I had the money, my projects would be very, very successful.

the hardest thing to do when making money online is gaining the knowledge to figure out what to do next

how many hours have you spent sifting through thousands of posts on here searching for golden bits of knowledge?

every one who says its lack of information or lack of funds are lying not only to others, but also to them self. This forum is full of information, internet is full of information and 95% of it is FREE. Now if its lack of funds, you need to choose plan wich isn't require investments - or only minimal investment (like domain and hosting) and start with that plan when you make some cash re-invest some of it to new projects and you are good to go.

Lack of fund is not a big issue. Yes, if you want to make a huge impact on the internet world, you need money (just like in real world). But to get pure thousands of dollars per month or even six digits income, i think you don't need any funding. Web hosting, ISP service, and domain name all are very cheap, you can start from there.

For me, the most difficult part is the programming part.

I think the hardest part for newbies is that they don't know where to look for information. There is so much crap out there, that the good information gets burried, and often they get caught up buying products which don't teach them what they need to know.

Of course is Lack of Knowledges. It I knew more I'd be very sucessful, that's my aim. :D
Also Lack of Investments. When I say I need more knowledges I don't mean that I currently don't have.
    We all need more! ;)

    Cheers

I would say the hardest part is spending all the money you make. The internet is a very good marketplace and for some a great way to earn a living.

Lack of funds, hands down: I want to take the plunge mentally but I can't afford to lose economically!

Only knowing enough scripting language to get into trouble and not enough to get out doesn't help, either...
