    Hey All,
I have been through a nightmare recently....all because of the incompetence of my hosting providers.

PLEASE be objective and candid and place your vote for the hosting company which you had experience with, and which you believe that is worst and will never ever again use.

I decided to create this poll...in hope to help newcommers avoid hosts which state that are great at the services which they provide.

If your vote is not in the list, please post it in the thread!

    Thanks,
    Nik

The worst, in my opinion, I say is Dreamhost. Won't be able to use over 50GB of their disk space without them terminating or suspending your account. Even if that 50GB is actual legal and used content and not just storage.

I don't think it's a good list because they're big known company's. The worst ones actually the small ones who take some orders and run away or provide unreliable service due to their very very low prices.

1and1 and godaddy both sux. it is so hard to deal with mysql and php stuff on both of those hosts. the good thing about 1and1 is their server speed.

Yes but we cant make a list of all the hosts out there. And the probability for a newcommer to choose betweend hosts on this lists are higher than any other list....as these are the major hosting providers.

Beside this, I agree...that there are even worst hosting providers...but we are talking here about the popular ones.

I agree with you on godaddy. They are the worst in terms of speed and offered services.

However I voted for midphase due to their dreadful support...which indirectly made me suffer material loss, due to their incompetence and inability to undertake a real dialogue.

Do keep in mind that while many have had great luck with those listed in the poll, these services tend to make their money on quantity. They are not interested in customer retention because while they may lose 30 customers/day, they tend to gain 100/day giving them a net gain of 70/day. That said, providing value and quality is not the goal.

Some of the best providers out there tend to be the smaller host interested in providing value, service and quality. Smaller hosts want you to stick around, and they will do what is necessary to keep you happy for years to come.

    My two cents.

    They do accept Paypal.

Too bad there are many on that list I would vote for. I pick 1&1 though out of all of them.

too confusing and creating a database or a forum is a nightmare with 1&1.
