Not too long you were asking this, so which one do you like the best? There are already hundreds of these "which are the best forums" threads out there. No reason to make any more, just participate in an existing one.

 

Yeah i get that.... the was a phpbb vs mybb then a mybb vs. vbulletin...

The winner of phpbb vs. mybb was mybb .... the winner of mybb vs vbulletin was mybb

So now im doin a MyBB vs Invision... These are the last 2 for the CROWN... You don't have to POLL IN if you don't want to ...but your VOICE is appreciated.

invision is my favorite software available.

 

I am using both.

IPB is a good paid forums
Mybb is a good free forums

 

as mentioned, there are 100's of this exact same poll around DP
comparing a free open source script to a paid script isn't really a fair comparison tbh

how about this, which do you like more.

a vw bug
or a Porsche ?

 

Invision is much better. But if you have money, I suggest using vBulletin

 

There are plenty of "PAID" things out there that aren't as good as open source free things.

With all due respect Brandon - Comparing Forums to Cars doesn't make sense.

P.S. - MyBB beat out phpbb and Vbulletin in other polls.... MyBB beat out Vbulletin by quite a few votes

 

IPB all the way if you can afford it. MyBB otherwise.

 

If the Cost didnt matter which would you like better? --> IPB or MyBB ? Is one much better than the other?

I would go for Invision , It costs but it does have a hellll of alot of options and there always expanding and trying to make things even better all the time
