Question: Do you think one or all religions should be banned? Option1) I think all religions should be banned Option2) No religions should be banned Option3) Only Christianity should be banned Option4) Only Hinduism should be banned Option5) Only Islam should be banned Option6) Only Judaism should be banned Option7) Only another non specified religion should be banned Option8) Anything that cannot be proven by scientific evidence should be banned
You can lump that in with option 8, athiests dont believe in anything that can't be proven... Or did you mean, ban atheism and the scientific method?
To many people that would be like asking them to voluntarily give up a leg or an arm. A large portion of populations are blind followers, who follow leaders based on everything except argument. They don't care about evidence, logic, or anything of the sort. Their entire identity, and who they are is tied up in these beliefs. Examples of this could be, how its impossible to get a bushite to admit that bush was a horrible president, or obamanoids to admit that obama is just as bad. After reading several threads on this particular subforum I was curious as to how the respondents would answer. I'm studying the psyche more than anything else. Of course by stating this, ive basically made the point of the poll useless. Perhaps people will still answer honestly before making their way to this post.
The two are unrelated. Atheism is a belief system without any proof, and should be added to the list of religions one might want to ban.
It appears as if my definition of atheism is not up to standard with societies measurement. 1. the doctrine or belief that there is no God. 2. disbelief in the existence of a supreme being or beings. I suppose you are correct, in that belief of no god without scientific evidence is just as bad as belief there is a god without scientific evidence. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to edit the poll.
Not to worry. I wouldn't be up for banning it even if it were on the list. I was just making an observation.
Hate is defined by "to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward;" Tolerance is defined by "a fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one's own." Hate is intolerant in its nature.
Because of your hatred to my assumed intolerance and arrogance you have made it my problem. Not once did you ever ask a single question. Tolerance requires understanding.
i had no question. i did not suggest you should do or not do anything either. and i did not mention your name. you judged what i wrote based on your standards and made your own problem
I vote nothing, I think you can't force them to get them banned for their religion, It was their rights to which and what they believe.
