is is ok to run ads on a political site?

I don't mean advetise a political site. Like say I have a political blog can I run ads on it , then put my weight towards web design or whatever?

Can't see why not. Does the FAQ say anything on the topics allowed?

    I don't think it's allowed...

I'd check though as I'm not 100% sure.

I think the issue would be more about if people want their ads displayed on a political site. People are so passionate about these things would they start spamming or harrasing advertisers if they didn't like the politician the site was about?

    Is it a partisan site?

The only sites prohibited are gambling, adult and pharmaceutical. If you site is political it is not prohibited.

LOL - I'm like that sometimes. But this network is so helpful that I wouldn’t risk being banned.

I actually have a few political domain names I wanted to develop at some point and add the network to them. I'm curious as to what Shawns opinion is on the subject.

I wouldn’t see why you wouldn’t be able to run the ad network on any site, the more sites the better IMHO.
