Political forums are only good for one thing...

I guess I just don't hit hot-button issues. I don't really talk too much about politics or religion...or anything that might piss someone off...atleast in my family.

My dad was a die-hard union liberal. I find a lot of what he says I agree with, and certain things I don't...which I note very softly. I don't even think he knows I'm that much different from him politically. I don't really care to note the difference to him, because there's more important things than opinions/egos in life.

There's people in my family I don't deal with as much, which makes it easier to deal with. I got a lot of 'game' in general ie I can appease anyone if I try hard. I find the internet has no real consequences, so that's why I'm dick sometimes here. Plus, really...who has an emotional bond on the net!?

 

I don't even know my surly uncle's political views. We usually argue about sports and business-related stuff.

And I usually take the opposite stance just to annoy him.

they super social conservatives, they get all excited about everything, gay people, people who look different , black people etc

its really kind of sad my grand father on that side has gone senile, and he accuses everyone of being terrorists now.

So I am not allowed to mess with him anymore
