Political forums are only good for one thing...

That would be a disaster! At least the P&R forums keep the mentalists away from the rest of the actual forums that matter. There are several people that frequent P&R with 90%+ of all of their posts in that forum, I'd rather keep things that way

 

I never understood that. If you don't like the forum- stay out of it.

I guess it's a self-control issue....not a forum issue.

 

Come on Rob, one reason Shawn kept it open is because of you and the fact that it garners a shitload of posts, SERP positions and views for DP!

Why would he close it? There is huge demand for it and it's one of the most active areas of the forum. I doubt he even reads the posts in there unless they're reported. Apparently he's got some self-control....or maybe he's just not interested in wasting 20 hrs. a day.

there is only so much you can argue about in seo, get bunch of links etc

its also good practice for arguing at family events

you may not change your mind about much, but certianly learn a lot of mostly useless info

plus most webmasters are clueless so why help them compete with you by helping them learn SEO

When you get real close to any biker on the road and blow the horn it scares the shit out of them. I've had quite a few flip their bike doing that.

Bikes belong on sidewalks or trails, not on the streets.

The only serps it seems to garner are high rankings for "NIXON".

I find most of the morons that think they have a right to be on the highway when riding a bike to be quite obnoxious.

I think I'll try your idea.

 

Don't tell that to a biker! They get militant about their right to be on the roads. I actually had a guy in a computer class a few years back yell (!) at me when I said bikes should be on the sidewalks not the roads LOL. I was like, dude, chill. Bikes = roadkill.

 

The thing is, I respect the hell out of the road. Both as a driver and as someone who rides a bike (motorcycle that is). Motorcycles deserve equal rights on the road.

Bikes and pedestrians are another story. Neither can keep up with the flow of traffic, and that makes them dangerous, not only to themselves but to motorists.

The biggest problems as I see it are the pedestrians that will walk "with" the flow of traffic, in the middle of the street, even when there is a side walk present. They are meat!

The bicyclist, and I am not talking about "kids" like we were joking about earlier, the ones in the speedos with the goofy hats and funky 10 speeds. The tour de franco wannabees. These idiots will purposely plant themselves in the middle of the road. It's like they are trying to prove something to you. Hell even on my motorcycle I know that the car always wins.

I say take aim at bikers (pedal bikers), it really relieves stress.

I have one uncle with whom I argue. But he's just like us and wont back down or admit that he might be wrong.

So it's pretty fun....for me. Other people can't stand him.
