say you sell a product or service of your own but you only have a blog. I've heard that people look for these 'legal notices' to assist in determining the legitimacy of a site. So...should they be added to a blog too?
- If you are selling something or collecting emails, then I'd say that having a terms and conditions and privacy policy make you look more legit. - If you are promoting or "endorsing" affiliate products you must have the FTC-required disclaimer on your site http://www.ftc.gov/multimedia/video/business/endorsement-guides.shtm - If you are displaying Adsense ads, you are required to have a privacy policy https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=100557
Okay, Thanks I wasn't sure about those things but I heard that some or all should be on a web site...wasn't sure about a blog...thanks for clearing it up.
Yes I agree but I am going at a snail pace with that (designing and developing myself) and just caught on to blogging within the last few weeks and thought I'd give it a try in the mean time. It at least let's me get out there while I'm working on it.
YOur completely new in web development I recommend of using any other free hosting service provider using a blog to sell products is bad idea according to me if u need the names of free web hosting reply me and why dont u use CMS and use co.cc for free domain name reg
Not completely new just going a little slow because of other obligations. I am using a blog to get my feet wet with marketing and learning other techniques in general. I have hosting. Just taking it a little slow on the dev and blogging in the mean time...I REALLY like it by the way...keeps people more current than a static web site. I do plan on combining the too but I'll get to that.
Just a suggestion Most of users feel genuine if they see SSL band over the website this will make grow ur business
