    Hello,

I have a question about the account policy. I have one account here (this one only) (I know only one account allowed)

Now, my question is, my sister wants to have an account as well because she doesn't want to use mine and want to have her own  But if she does, she will be using this computer as well, then it would look like one person having two accounts when it is not

So, I would like to know is it allowed to have 2 accounts from the same IP (even though it is 2 people's accounts?) ? :(

    Thanks in advance.

(I searched, but did not find any result relate to this issue)

To be frank there is no way of knowing if you are just having 2nd account this way or not, because being ur sister u probably tell her to use same signature as urs or something similar, might have same posting style too , cause ur related and so oon.. but lets see how mods distinguish this one out...from ur sister and urself ?
This puts the big question "What is duplicated account and how to distinguish one from other ? "

She is older, I can't order her  Nor will I do it anyways since it seems unfair if it is allowed in the first place.

Regards to posting style, I don't know how she posts.

However, that raises another question, let's say IF a family member can get an account and having her/his sibling to post her/his signatures, which is having a relative to do more advertising. Isn't is similar to that member having friends on the DP board, and asking them to post their signatures? What would be the differences since they are all different people except one is a sibling.

Regard to "What is duplicated account and how to distinguish one from other ?"
I do understand your point and agree with you partially. Though the word "duplicate" doesn't it mean "copy"? Which is saying the same person? My case here is a family member (a different person).

If one family is only allowed to have one account, that seems pretty unfair if a household has more than 1 family member who is interested in DPboard. If they only have one computer of course. I doubt anyone wants to be on someone else's account and posting on that person's name. Then again, just my opinion.

    Thanks.

I doubt they will let you since there is no way to prove that you are 2 seperate people and if its this easy to get 2 accounts from 1 ip everyone will want to do it then there will be total anarchy.

To OP, the rules let you have the separate accounts, but you must not bump, rep, and/or itrade each other's threads :)

As all have said above, siblings may have separate accounts. By do doing they must not bump each other's threads, trade itrader, promote the same ventures, or do anything that might appears the two are one and the same person.

Be sure to alert a mod userid used by your sister.
