I honestly think more people should study philosophy. Too many people here are disregarding arguments or objecting to them, by using rhetorical and literal merit speeches. Instead we should really just be more rational. If you want to disregard something, take out some reasons or evidence to let us know why you would disregard this theory or view point.

Sadly, this is not necessary true either. The world is in many ways a popularity contest such as presidential elections. Popularity plays a large part in it whether if it is due to stupid people, human nature or whatever but it exist. And I don't believe that no one cares about what cuban's think. Especially, the guy who said it. To not care is just another way of blinding yourself.

We should look at everything from both sides whatever the views may be, do your homework and form your own opinion through logically and rationally means, given the information you have at hand.

LOL. Lemme clarify. If you could use the world's most powerful electron microscope to examine my soul... and magnify the result 1000 times... you *still* couldnt detect a smidgen of concern about what Cuba thinks of the US.

    [So guess again.]

This thread is about an attack in India perpetrated by a bunch of ignorant mouth-breathing radicals from Pakistan that cant stand the way the world is and so they kill those that dont agree with them. Sitting around here blaming the US for someone elses actions is horse-shit, BUT it's easier than looking one's own religion in the mirror and going "Wow... our religion really is becoming the universal vehicle of hatred."

Meanwhile... here's a sample of Islam's "message of peace". In response to a cartoon in a Danish newspaper (see attached)... a Muslim cleric issued a fatwa and put a bounty on the artists head, Muslims all over the world rioted, people died. Basically the true face of the religion was revealed. Intolerant. I live in the land where free speech is recognized as a God-given right... not an offense worthy of a death penalty. Islam's adherents need to lighten up.

Notie how the quote was no one, not you. Those are two different propositions. Those who don't care what other people think usually don't understand very much. All I can say.
