    Name: Poker Sharks Online
    URL: www.pokersharksonline.com
    Type: Poker affiliate website

Reason for Selling: No time to update and/or manage the site.

Revenue: $200-500 per month (statements attached)

The site operates by giving out rake-back to players on a monthly basis. Some of which the owner (me) keeps... The average rake per month is about $1000 in profit. To keep players happy you give back about $700 of that and pocket around $300 yourself. Some with good marketing skills could really make that $ amount increase by recruiting more players.

Id like an estimate for what this site is worth. Keep in mind I paid just over $1,000 to develop and create it, including custom design, logo, banner, affiliate accounts etc. Everything on the site is mine and 100% original/custom.

If you are interested in buying my site please get into contact with me... (calven@chartsetups.com) Please serious buyers only...

I was under the impression that poker affiliate accounts can not be transferred. If this is the case (I'm not sure) then the new owner would have to build their own client base from scratch so your income figures are irrelavent.

Can you confirm whether or not the affiliate accounts are transferrable and how the transfer would occur?

Yes affiliate accounts are transferable. The potential new owner would just need to create a full tilt poker account and type in their name.... funds would differ to the new name.

Each affiliate gets a unique name. Mine is Name: PSONLINE PW: XXXXXX

I can login then there is an option to send payment to "player account" or check i believe.

Anyone have any idea of a $ amount for my site?

I'd estimate a minimum of about $800 for the site alone... Given the man hours and cost ($1100) of creating it.
    I'd estimate 7-10 X trailing monthly revenue of $200 = $1800

That puts it in the $2,500 ballpark....

Any thoughts??? Id really like some professional input or someone with experience giving valuation to websites....

    THANKS! :)

    Hi Calven

I've had a look at your site and although it is a very clean site, well set out and presented, it has very poor link strength.

Somehow you have managed to generate traffic to the site and generate a nice income stream however an outsider may not be able to replicate this without strong link strength. It also appears that most of your pages are in google's supplementary results.

May I ask what keywords you rank high for and where this massive traffic is coming from?

    Got another question

You state in your website that you offer 50% rakeback for Full tilt. However in those reports you posted it says you only get 20%. Does this mean you are paying the extra 30% from your own pocket?

    How does it work?

That is a very nice looking site! I am looking to buy poker sites but I want fairly static data which will not require much of my time to maintain - by the sounds of this you have to work quite hard to make that money?

No I hardly do much work at all actually. The hard work was writing all the articles for the site and getting the links together so i dont have too many broken ones...

My site is on auction here: http://www.sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/4865?
