I say put a better background color maybe a dark or light bluish. Also make the titles stand out a bit more.
At first glance I expected the below to be clickable categories to browse poems: Love Hate Drugs Lust Lies Truth Death The design looks good though, and colors work well.
Thanks for your input The index page will be used to catagorise the poetry but at the moment theres not enough content to make it worth splitting up into sections it will eventually be links to different sections with the relevent poetry
