I've been to quite a few websites, and a lot of them generate a community buzz with Podcasts. I'm not exactly quids-in on how you'd go about doing it, but maybe you could do weekly ones about different sections of the forum. If the DP team haven't got time to do it then maybe a few people from the forums will step up to the challenge. So what do you think? It's just an idea I think is worth considering. I'm Cosmos by the way (new here)
and just what are you going to podcast? 5c for signing up to my site? there is way to much on DP as it is, if you cant get to the site then tough, there is no need to waste time or money to make a podcast. by the time you sift through 1000 posts to find one worth it, you'll be 6 months behind in the following weeks podcast
No, I was thinking more along the lines of a Podcast, not a Postcast. You don't make Podcasts about posts. If you did, then you would be here all year. For example, if a group of members in the DP forums have something to share about computers, website design, game reviews, or whatever, then it would make sense to do a Podcast about them. Especially since they're often more informative than a simple post. Podcasts don't have to be time consuming or expensive. There's several websites that offer free Podcasting, such as MyPodcast.com (took 2 seconds to find in Google) where all you need is a headset (which 90% of people have got) then you're ready to start. And as long as you have an idea for content, it won't take long to make a worthy Podcast. Worth considering I reckon.
