Poast summary plug-in?

In there any plugin that allow us to view only posts summary at homepage and in categories?

 

change "the_content" to "the_excerpt" in your index.php.

 

Tried that, no effect...

 

Try a plugin like The Excerpt Reloaded.

 

try adding more tag ...

 

What do you mean by the summary? As in continue reading or like first para and last para thing?

 

I like 5 latest posts posted in homepage with 1 paragraph each... also in categories pages..

 

so the "more" tag doesn't work, was it?

Add <!--more--> to hide what you want after that tag.
