I just put the new look for www.BigString.com its and instant messenger service that allows you to self destruct message even with AIM, YAHOO and all the other big ones. Anyways on IE6 i am having problems with transparency in the PNGs. I just want to know what the cleanest and fastest way to fix this problem. Thanks
The safest way would be exporting 8-bit PNG with full transparency channel (there are not too many programs supporting this - you can use Fireworks if you have access to it). Such an image would work perfectly with the modern browsers, and with IE6 it would only lose the soft edges. For this method you don't have to use any hacks, the whole "solution" is contained in the very image. Edit: After checking your image, you can easily prepare plain 8-bit image with proper background matting and it would work properly in all the browsers.
