For some reason on my site the .PNG images on my site are not showing up. Heres a link:

    www.plukltd.com

The .jpg show fine but the .PNG images at the bottom do not show at all in any browser.

Also in FF if I visit the site at www.plukltd.com no images show but if I visit www.plukltd.com/index.html they work.

Any help with these issues would be much appreciated.

    I'm getting a 403 forbidden message..
You probably need to change the permissions on the file to 777 (All can read) if it's set at 700 to 770 the outside world wont' be able to see it

Also as a suggestion update that hostgator "404 not found" file it looks unprofessional.. maybe just make a file that says 404 error: the item you have requested is not here, click here to return to the main page.

Rant: This isn't your fault.. I don't know why paid hosts do this.. when I see a paid host do this It makes me want to drown kitties. end rant

Cant you access the site at all? I can access it fine, the permissions are set to 755 for the entire folder. also which page are you getting a 404 error?

if i convert the image to jpg it works fine. the problem only occurs when i try to use .png (it has to be this file format because the background of the image needs to be transprent)

Yes I can access the site fine..
I went directly to the Image URL and got the 403 error.
I got the 404 error when I mistyped the image url.
Maybe hostgator doesn't like .png files.. I've used them before on my host with no issues (except for slower load times)
If you can get away with it.. use a .gif they support transparency.. but you may lose some of the shading if you have any becuase it supports a more limited color pallette.

plukltd.com/images/small/bodyImages/ there are no png files inside this folder, unless you have removed the png files since your post, then they are not working because the images are not where they should be

Fixed it. Hostgator has built in hotlink protection to stop visitors using images from my site (therefore stealing my bandwidth). Simply added plukltd.com to the list of allowed websites to cure the problem.

Thanks for all the help anyway :D
