It appears someone bought alot of domains from me using a stolen paypal/credit card. I came here to get info from the PMs and they are completely gone.

So this site must have some sort of message pruning going on? which makes no sense because we are allowed a certain amount of space for PMs and they should be untouched unless we max out that space, but even then they should stil be there, we just shouldnt be able to receive any new pms.

I need this info to help me give info to paypal and possibly the owners lawyer or whatever he needs to do with it.

Is there a way for me to get my older pms from around october?

There is a message appear there (PM's automatically deleted after 90 days).

BTW always take a backup of all your PM's using given feature (Download all Private Messages as: XML | CSV | Text).

Also check your email where you get PM email notification if you still keep it there.

Allthough if he paid via stolen paypal they normaly withhold straight away so it's probably within the 90 days in which case they should still be there if you haven't maxed out your space.

What you should do is check your email your registered at dp with as if you have pm notifications turned on normally a copy of pm's are included in the email, otherwise I think you're stuffed my friend. It's unlikely you will get them back via paypal either as domains are not physical items, try contacting your registrar and inform them that they are stolen or you can always try a WIPO to get them back.
