PM system issues, constant notification and inability to delete

Hello,

The PM system on this forum is really messed up it seems. Whenever I get a new PM I keep getting the new PM pop-up on EVERY page, even though I have turned this notification OFF in the settings area.

Also, I cannot seem to delete PMs. I deleted all the ones in my inbox by selecting the checkboxes for the PMs and selecting delete from the dropdown menu, yet the PMs are still here!

Any way to fix this?

It's not a problem with the PM system itself. The problems you mention occur when we have a heavy database load, where the PM status lags a bit. If you deleted PMs, they should still delete - they just won't show as deleted right away. To avoid the pop-ups when these issues occur, the best bet is to turn off your pop-up notifications in your usercp.
