Just a thought on how to reduce some of the PM spam we keep getting - can we set the limit for anybody to send a PM requires them to have say 25-50 posts like you do with the BST forum?

I know it's a feature that is possible with vBulletin, and it would probably cut down on a lot of the PM spam reports since it usually comes from new accounts with 0 posts.

Seriously people - this is like the 4th time this was suggested in 2 days or so now. Please SEARCH for answers before asking questions here. As I've said before, it's been denied repeatedly, and the reasons why it wouldn't work have already been given (they couldn't contact mods and vice versa, they couldn't follow the new rules that require PMs, etc.). Spammers that really want to spam will do it even if they have to wait a while longer, or it would just encourage things like more account sales which isn't allowed to get around it. Not smart.
