PM Spam suggestion

Hello DigitalPoint staff,

I'm here on DP for quite a while, I joined in 2006 and I know how things work around here.
Lately I've noticed an increasing number of spam bots and I think the solution to this might be quite simple.

Since users are forbidden to post in certain categories unless he has a number of posts, I suggest doing the same with the PM.

New users can definetly chat in the thread, or at least be allowed to PM once the user is X weeks old (this might not stop the spam though as they can make ageing accounts).
