Is it alright in this forum to receive unwanted solictations via pm?

I received two or three yesterday. Some from members without any posts and some from members with plenty of post count

    Let me know'
    Thanks

    It isn't, no.
    Unsolicited PMs = spam.
Members with plenty of post count should know better.
You should forward the offending PM to a moderator for their attention.

Thanks guys I will forward those if they come up again. I figured it was not allowed but when I saw a 400plus count member shoot me one I was confused.

    Thanks again

Most of the time the reputable accounts have been hijaked.

As said above, forward spam to moderators.
