PM in DP is 1/2 hour slow.

Hello moderators and administrator,

First of all, I want to say that I read a lot threads in this forum but didn't got this topic so, I think this will be better to ask myself.

I am getting PM's 1/2 hour late. Don't you think this is bad as Internet is said to be the most fastest thing in the world but I might have got a FAX too fast than this time.

Well, you might ask that how did I know the time and how can I say that I got late PM's? Here is the answer.

Today, I had to get some message from my client in DP. As I was in hurry so, I was tracking his work by viewing his profile. I got to see that he was sending PM at 12:49. I thought this might be for me, so I waited to reply him as I don't use IM for converstaion due to a lot of contacts and I feel bore to use it and as well I should mention that I didn't have his IM ID. After around 5 minutes I again refreshed the page and saw that he was still sending PM and the time was same. After some minutes I again refreshed the page and saw that he was already offline but to my surprise he got offline. I thought he sent me message already so I refreshed around 5 times. But to my surprise there was nothing new message in my folder. I thought this might happened due to cache so, I restarted my computer as it uses Deep Freeze and everything after restarting will loss everything that were saved while working and even viruses. I saw the Private message again but there was nothing in the folder till now. Fnally I made sure that he went without sending message and might have sent the messsage to somebody else. After this I was roaming the forum but at once I got a message from him. I again saw his profile which was still showing that he was last active at 12:49 am which was the time he sent me the message but I got it around 1/2 hour late. Don't you think this is crazy. After that I replied him again and he also sent me the message again but the same thing happened again. This made me sure that this is the problem of DP.

Will you please answer me if it is a bug or my personal problem as my Inbox holds around 382 messages.

If you don't believe me then you can try this with your friend of DP.

And moderators please do not close this thread without satisfied answer.

No clue......

 

Same here, the PM system has worked perfectly and instantly for me ever since I got here

 

Did you try using other browsers? It might help?

 

if you saw him in "private messages" section it doesn't mean he's sending the PM. it might be he just reading ot opening without sending PM. or it may even be the internet connection. just my thought.

 

May be he is right but it is not perfect coz I got the message after ~15 minutes he got offline.
