    It's really preferable to forward the PM directly to one of the mods so they can read it and decide for them self. Be sure to append a little note saying it is unrequested PM spam. You can find which mods are currently online here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showgroups.php
    No need to specifically start a thread because it's a pretty widespread problem.
