Are you actually receiving clicks from the two giant adds at the top of the page? Other than that, the look and feel is nice.
Get rid of the big huge Google adsense block. It's really not a good idea to have to force to see even the title of the first post. You're just losing potential readers.
Those 2 giant ads that who up right as I land on the page are in the way. At first I thought that that was part of your page until I scrolled down. Put the banner on top of your header, and move the google ads over to the sidebar so your actual content can be seen as soon as you get to the page.
I agree with the others, get rid of the ad blocks and work them into your content better so its more seemless. I know you want to use them and your trying to force the reader to click them by having them above the fold, but there are other ways to work it into the page to make it look better and still be above the fold. this way, any potential visitors won't automatically click the back button.
